The Cake That Waited in the Dark

When a rabbit family leaves their mentally five-year-old XXL daughter home alone for a graduation trip, a power outage and a forgotten water valve turn seven days into a death sentence. Lumi, a gentle white bunny, eats spoiled food and dies from dehydration and food poisoning. Her parents and sister return to find her body. As a spirit, Lumi watches them grieve, then gently tells them to live on. A heartbreaking Pixar-style tale of family, neglect, and the quietest kind of forgiveness.
